What kitchen equipment can I expect to find in the villa/apartment?
Basic kitchen utensils and standard kitchen appliances (based on Italian culinary traditions). Common American appliances such as toasters, dishwashers, and microwave ovens are usually not present. They will be indicated in the property description if present.

Is there a television - air conditioning etc?
Accessories such as TV, clothes washer, dishwasher, VCR, CD player, telephone, air conditioning washers, hairdryers, clothes dryers and central heating are available only if stated in the property description.

Is linen provided?
All the properties supply both bed and bath linen on a weekly basis. The cost is usually included in the rental price. Towels for swimming are not provided.

Does the person responsible speak English?
Most of our staff speak English, and basic French and German. We will assist you during the check in, and for the check out if the owner is not available. We will be pleased to assist you for any requirement throughout the period of your stay.

Are there any additional costs payable on arrival?
Our rates are generally fully inclusive of weekly rental, final cleaning and utilities, unless otherwise noted in the property description. Please note however, the refundable security deposit as stated in the individual description of the property is payable on arrival.

How is the security deposit paid?
In cash - major currencies are accepted, or by credit card. Please note that without payment of a security deposit, access to the property will be denied.

When will the security deposit be refunded?
It will be refunded on your departure provided that there is no damage to the property caused by your party. In the event of damage which to the property the security deposit will be used to recover the monies, and you will be billed for any additional costs over and above the security deposit amount if incurred.

What happens if we arrive outside the stated times?
Access to the property can only be granted at the stated times. If you are not able to arrive within the stated times then you must notify us before the booking is confirmed. Wherever possible we will make alternative arrangements. If you experience any delays please notify the agent responsible (you will receive their mobile phone number) or our office Tel 089 873 344, immediately. If you arrive later than 7:30pm, or on a Sunday or holiday, an additional flat fee of €25 will be requested, to be paid on your arrival. This is due to these times being outside of normal office hours.

What time must we leave the property?
Check-out is by 10:30am on the day of departure. If you intend to vacate the property very early on your day of departure it is important that you notify the agent responsible, at the time of your check-in.

What services are available?
A standard final cleaning service charge is included in the rental rates in all properties unless noted. Additional services (at extra cost) are available in most locations on request eg. Cook, cleaner, or a mobile phone.

What if something breaks or needs repairing during our stay?
Contact the agent responsible for the property, as indicated on your reservation. You will always have access to a contact number for an English speaking agent who can assist you.

Is it possible to extend our stay?
At times it may be possible. Please contact our office or your agent as soon as you decide you wish to extend.

Is there a telephone in all properties?
No. Where there is a telephone in the property it will be indicated in the property description. We can however, arrange for a rental mobile phone in advance for you, to be available on your arrival. In this case we are able to provide you with the phone number prior to your arrival. Alternatively, if you have a GSM dual band mobile and only require an Italian SIM card, we can purchase this in advance for you, at a fee of €10 plus the cost of credit required (minimum usually €10).

What should we do if we have a complaint?
If you feel that the property you rented is not satisfactory (if, for example it is not cleaned properly or some appliances do not work) you should contact your agent immediately so that the problem can be rectified. It will be too late to let us know on departure. If you feel that you are having communication problems with the agent responsible, you are welcome to contact our office and we will mediate on your behalf in an effort to resolve the problem.

Is renting a car a necessity?
Car rental on the Amalfi Coast is not necessary because there is an efficient public transport service (bus, taxi’s, ferries and boats). Note also that in some areas it is not possible to take a car, such as in town centres, and public parking is very expensive.

Is there parking space at the Villa/apartment?
Where parking space is available it will be indicated on the individual property description.
